At this time of year we start to hear a lot about thankfulness. We recognize more acutely our connections. We begin to reconnect with family and friends who we may not see very often, if at all, at other times of the year. We gather at each other's tables and we bring offerings of love, wine, smiles, stories and side dishes. We embrace what binds us and it is THIS, I think, that we are most truly grateful for - the people in our lives who lift us up and stick by us. May our gratitude extend outward to the world in hopes of making it a better place this holiday season.
"When the seasons shift, even the subtle beginning, the scent of a promised change, I feel something stir inside me. Hopefulness? Gratitude? Openness? Whatever it is, it's welcome." --Kristin Armstrong
